When he was in highschool He knew the dream was to become an actor. After being in college for three months he stated, "Things didn't really go my way, and it didn't really work for them, so we had to end our relationship." He later relocated to New York and studied at the Circle in the Square Theatre School. The actors reunited for The Last Word. In the film, they played their on-screen love partner. Stuart Fink wrote the movie and Mark Pellington directed it. Shirley MacLaine, a Broadway actor, was also in the film. At the time of filming, Sadoski had just divorced her ex-wife Hope while Seyfried had split from Long that September.
