He was often criticized at school, and being known as a Spider-Man lover, he described him as Spider-Man's alter ego, Peter Parker. His formal education consisted of Priory Preparatory School and City of London Freemen's School. Also, he was a student at The Central School of Speech and Drama and University of London. Once he realized he was bored of business, he began to become more interested with acting. He began his professional career in the year 2005 when he appeared on an British TV show called "Sugar Rush". He played his first leading part two years later in "Boy A" as a troubled child looking to get back on track after being in jail for a while. Also, he appeared in "The Social Network,"" in the role of the lead before appearing in the film "The Marvelous Spider-Man." With the ability to perform a range of roles, He was given the role of main actor in the historical film "Silence" in 2016. There were numerous awards he won like his BAFTA Award, Tony Award, and an A.A.C.T.A. After his performance in Hacksaw Ridge He was given the prize for "Best Actor".
