Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding on 30th December, 1986 Hereford, England) is a English musician and singer. Ellie Goulding, a British artist and singer, gained notoriety in 2010, when her smash singles Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed received a lot of attention from the media. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Her unique soprano sibilance and knack for writing captivating, yet emotional tracks, Goulding, much like her predecessors Kate Bush and Imogen Heap has a place at the cutting edge of the current mainstream and arty, independent-minded pop.Goulding soon graduated from blogs to print media, receiving the attention of mainstream magazines like The Guardian and fielding offers from record companies. Polydor Records offered her a contract as an important label. She began to prepare for her release.
